Obituary of Janet M. Sabatino

Janet M. Sabatino, 86, of Howell passed away at home on Saturday, October 12, 2019 with her family by her side. She was born, raised and had lived in Brooklyn before settling here in 2005. 

Janet was predeceased by her husband, Dominick Sabatino; and her daughter, Jane Ricciuti. She is survived by three children, Dominick “Bud” Sabatino and his wife, Susan, of California, Susan Picone of Howell, Steven Sabatino and his wife, Diane of Miami, Florida; a son-in-law, Peter Ricciuti of Frederick, Maryland; and seven grandchildren, Eugene Picone, David Ricciuti, Foster Sabatino, Matthew Picone, Lynne Ricciuti, Matisse Sabatino, and John Sabatino.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 8:00 AM for the procession to her 9:00 AM Funeral Mass at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell. Interment will follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Janet’s name to the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell, NJ 07731.
