Obituary of Thomas A. Rignola
Thomas A. Rignola, 72, of Howell passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at home surrounded by family. He was born, raised and had lived in Brooklyn before settling in Howell in 2002. Thomas worked as an Officer for the New York City Sanitation Department in Brooklyn, and bravely served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his adoring wife of 48 years, Kathleen Rignola of Howell; children, Kathleen Humel of Marlboro, and Thomas Rignola and his wife, Joan of Manalapan; grandchildren, Louis, Ava, and Carmine; sister, Virginia Martyniak and her husband, Stanley of Staten Island, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM and 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Monday, October 28, 2019 for the procession to his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Arneytown 08562.
