Obituary of Linda Bocchiaro

Linda Bocchiaro, 71, of Millstone passed away on October 23, 2019.  She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. In 1964, she graduated from St. Joseph High School in Brooklyn. She married Robert Bocchiaro in 1968. They raised their family in Old Bridge, NJ.

Linda loved spending time with family and friends and being a “mom” to everyone who came into her home.  She was always welcoming, comforting, and an excellent cook who made sure no one left hungry. 

Linda had a love for travel and planning vacations for her family.  Her love for travel led to her career as a travel agent, trusted by her loyal clients as she sent them and their families all over the world.

Whether it was traveling abroad, a local day trip, or sitting home watching TV, Linda most enjoyed spending time with her three granddaughters, who she loved and spoiled the way only a grandmother could.

She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her friends, family, and everyone whose life she brightened.

Linda was predeceased by her husband, Robert; son, Christian; parents, Frank and Concetta Cundari; and sister, Joann Mazzola. She is survived by her son, Craig Bocchiaro, and his wife, Christine; daughter, Tara DiBari, and her husband, Pete Bonafide; grandchildren, Gianna, Ava, and Mia; brother-in-law Salvatore Mazzola; and best friend, Fran Miller, and her husband, Allan.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Monday, October 28, 2019. Entombment will follow in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum, 549 County Road 520, Marlboro Township, NJ 07746.
