Obituary of Timothy P. Guzman

Timothy Paul Guzman, 40, of Jackson passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019.  He was born and raised in Staten Island, and eventually settled in Jackson.  A graduate of the CBA Class of 1997, Timmy joined the United States Coast Guard.   He graduated first in class, was assigned to Cutter Northland 904 out of Virginia and bravely contributed in the Katrina recovery efforts.  Timmy loved going to the gym, and watching movies.  He was a loving son, brother and uncle who treasured his family and he will be missed dearly. 

Timmy is survived by his parents, Raymond and Margaret Guzman; brothers, Raymond Guzman, Jr. and his fiancée, Zohra Syed of Babylon, NY, and Kevin Guzman of Jackson; sister, Christina DeSanctis and her husband, Rocco of Jackson; nephew, Nicholas; nieces, Emily and Gianna; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 9:30 AM Funeral Mass on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson.  Interment will follow in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, One Honey Locust Drive, Lakewood.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
