My deepest Condolences to the whole Hughes family, and to all who loved Mr. James Hughes. I know he was very much loved by many. He was always very nice to me & so was his wife, your Mom Mrs. Marie Hughes. They made me feel like I was part of their family. They looked out for me and I felt like they were my 2nd parents. I truly loved living straight across the street from Your Dear Dad and Sweet Mom & all of you. I have many wonderful memories that I will always cherish. After I moved, I would visit them. I am heart broken that they both passed on. I loved/love them both very much & I will always keep them in a special place in my heart. They would often proudly & joyfully talk about all of you, their children and grandchildren. They would show me and my son the family pictures too. They loved/love all of you very much. I love them & will always remember them. My son took a special liking to your Dad & Mom also, as did my family. My family and I send you all our love and we are praying for all of you as you celebrate the life of your Dad and lay him to rest. I want to be there tomorrow too very much. It is an honor that he served in the Navy & protected our country. Thank you Mr. Hughes for being so nice to me and for serving our country. I will miss you very much. May you be eternally happy reuniting and being with your dear wife who I miss so much, and in the presence of Jesus in Heaven. God bless all of you and comfort you. Love, your friend Terry Varvaro who use to live across the street from all of you on Koehl St. xoxo
