Obituary of Cecilia Marie Brewer

Cecilia Marie Brewer, 55, of Freehold passed away on November 4, 2019. She was born and raised in Panama and came to the United States in 1982. Cecilia lived in San Diego before settling in Jackson about four years ago. She was a paralegal for St. Louis Bar Association for over ten years. Cecilia had a passion for singing and loved old school music and dancing. She enjoyed Bob Marley, word search puzzles, and was an avid football fan, especially of the Steelers. As a woman of God, she spent a tremendous amount of time in prayer and loved the Lord with all her heart. Above all, her greatest passion was her grandchildren.

Cecilia was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Josephine Gray; She is survived by her children, Pastor Jamal Fletcher and his wife, Phyllis of Jackson, and Keyana Brown and her husband, Noah of San Diego; grandchildren, Corbon, Tahani, Naomi, and Jeriah; siblings, Celia Gordon and her husband, George of San Diego, and Luis Gordon of Oceanside, CA; and nieces and nephews, Rashad, Isaiah, Luis, and AnnJoleen.

A memorial service will be held at the First Assembly of God Church, 272 Jackson Mills Road, Freehold Township at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 16, 2019.  Interment will be private.
