Obituary of Tito Battaglini
Tito J. Battaglini, 87, of Howell, NJ passed away surrounded by his family at Brandywine Assisted Living, Howell, NJ on Thursday, November 8, 2012. Tito was born in Philadelphia, was raised in West Philadelphia, and had lived in Glenolden, PA, Springfield, PA, and Manalapan, NJ before moving to Howell, NJ. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran during World War II serving in the Pacific Theater. Tito was a bartender at Dom's Lounge, Springfield, PA until retiring. Prior to that, he was a draftsman for Baldwin Locomotive Works. Tito was an avid golfer whom loved to spend time at his second home, the Springfield Country Club.
Tito was predeceased by his sister, Marie Langelo. He is survived by two sons, Joseph Battaglini and his wife, Wendy of Oxford, PA and John Battaglini and his wife, Denise of Manalapan; seven grandchildren, Joseph, Nicole, Ryan, Tyler, Justin, Thomas, and Jason; and his former wife, Patricia Battaglini of Philadelphia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 9:00AM Memorial Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township, NJ on Wednesday, November 14, 2012.
