Obituary of Ronald Gorbich
Ronald K. "Ronnie" Gorbich, 56, of Howell Twp. passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 8, 2012. Ronnie was born in Neptune, raised in Farmingdale and had lived in Howell Twp. He worked as a maintenance man for Green Acres Manor until retiring. Prior to that, Ronnie work for the Freehold Twp. Water Department. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Farmingdale. Ronnie was an exempt member and ex-chief of the Farmingdale Fire Department. He enjoyed spending time at Wall Stadium and was a member of the 2-Jr. Racing Team. Ronnie was an avid NASCAR fan and loved the NY Giants.
Ronnie was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Mary Gorbich and a sister, Carolyn Ann "Cookie" Gorbich. He is survived by his three brothers, Robert Gorbich of Howell, Richard Gorbich and his wife, Connie of Quarryville, PA and Rodger Gorbich and his wife, Cheryl of Twin Mountain, NH; a nephew, Darrell Gorbich and his wife, Michelle of Bordentown; a great niece, Lexi; and his faithful canine companion, Stacey.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11:00 AM funeral service on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at First United Methodist Church of Farmingdale, 8 Main Street, Farmingdale with Rev. Dr. Wayne Richards, officiating. Interment to follow in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ronald's memory may be made to First United Methodist Church of Farmingdale.
