Obituary of Lydia A. Coleondro

Lydia A. Coleondro, 64, of Howell passed peacefully at home on Monday, December 23, 2019. She was born in Orange and raised in Howell where she remained for the rest of her life. Lydia graduated from Trenton State College in 1977 with a degree in business and literature. She continued her education at Fairleigh Dickenson where she received her Master’s degree. Lydia was a controller for Net App in NYC for the past 12 years. A traveler at heart, she enjoyed the beach and the ocean. More than anything, Lydia loved to be with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Jerry Coleondro in 1985. Lydia is survived by her mother, Angie Coleondro of Howell; and her sister, Gerri Porter of Jackson. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM Memorial Mass on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell. Burial of ashes will follow in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lydia’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
