Obituary of Eugene E. Mikulewicz

Eugene E. Mikulewicz, 63, of Manalapan passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at home with his family by his side. He was born in Newark, raised in Hillside, and had lived in Old Bridge before settling in Manalapan in 1999. Eugene was a Procurement Manager for Siemens for many years before retiring in 2017. He could always be found watching Sunday football and baseball, rooting for the Giants and the Yankees. Eugene enjoyed all kinds of music and going golfing in his spare time. He was passionate about going to the beach, laying out in the sun, and riding his bike, but above all else, he was a loving husband and father cherishing the time he spent with his family. Gene was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Florence Mikulewicz; and sisters, Ellen Mazur, Kathy Wlazowski and Janet Bitow. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Antoinette Mikulewicz; sons, Steven Mikulewicz and Christopher Mikulewicz, both of Manalapan; sister Linda Peterson and her husband, Frank of Egg Harbor; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM with words of remembrance to follow.
