Obituary of Diane B. Caleo

Diane B. Caleo, 73 of Freehold passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Diane was born and raised in Manhattan. She moved to the Sunnyside section of Staten Island to raise her family. Along with her husband, they retired to Freehold in 2005. She worked as a secretary for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Staten Island, retiring 20 years ago. Diane was a parishioner at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine. She loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with friends from The Villages and her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Anna Indelicato. Diane is survived by her husband of 52 years, Frank Caleo of Freehold; children, Nicole Widman and her husband, John of Freehold and Joseph Caleo and his wife, Deena of Freehold; sisters, Barbara Villani of Staten Island; Debra Aquilino and her husband, Carmine of New York City; 4 grandchildren, John Widman, Frank Widman, Joseph Caleo and Michael Caleo; and sister-in-law, Francine Malara and her husband, Carmine of Manchester. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Saturday, January 18, 2020 for the procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.
