Beautiful Person...so sorry for your loss
The Betty Estenes Family
My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. I hope for peace in the days to come and am so sorry for your loss. Love you Trish!
Our sincere sympathy to Joyce and the family.
The Conk family was part of my growing up in Smithburg. I remember the Easter Egg Hunts that the family had for the community each year. A couple of times I helped with coloring the eggs the night before. Once there was a bad thunder storm and the electric went off and we finished with light from kerosene lamps. Eddie helped and always joked and make the job fun.
The memory of Eddie that always brings a smile, was watching him and Joyce dance the polka. The potatoes’ house dance that the MYF had at the Buffett farm is one and their wedding.
Eddie’s grandfather Pop Irons always grew beautiful flowers and he handed out bouquets. Many of the vegetable my mom canned came from the Conk farm.
Rest in Peace and thanks for the memories.
