Obituary of Eric Levinson

Eric E. Levinson, 25, of Howell, NJ on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at home. Eric was born in New Brunswick and was a life long resident of Howell. Eric was a former life guard for the Manasquan Beach Patrol and substitute school teacher in the Freehold Boro Elementary schools. Most recently he was a physical education teacher at the Mercer Arts High School in Trenton. Eric graduated from Freehold Township High School and Rowan University. He was also a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity at Rowan University. Eric was a Track and Field Official for the NJSIAA at the High School Level. Surviving are his parents: Dennis and Debra Levinson of Howell, NJ; a brother: Shawn Levinson of Howell, NJ; paternal grandmother: Beatrice Friedman of Freehold, NJ; maternal grandparents: Edward and Olga Janoski of Sarasota, FL.; aunts and uncles: Carol and Jack Carra of Sarasota, FL., and Michael and Evelyn Levinson of Israel. Friends and relatives are invited to gather at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, NJ on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Eric may be made to the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724, and would be appreciated.
