Obituary of Anna M. Lembitz

Anna M. Lembitz, 88, of Highlands passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Jersey Shore University Medical University. She was born in Baltimore, lived in Grosse Pointe, MI, Ft. Lauderdale, and Warren, NJ before settling in Highlands, where she stayed for over 20 years. She was a devoted business owner and loved to read historical autobiographies. Anna enjoyed gardening, cooking, and decorating in her spare time. Above all, she was a loving homemaker and mother to her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Allan Lembitz. Anna is survived by her daughters, Nancy Jostock and her husband, Patrick of Colts Neck and Susan Lembitz of Highlands; many cousins; and faithful canine companion, Lacy. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Arneytown.
