Obituary of Lucrezia Camporeale

Lucrezia Camporeale, 90, of Howell passed away at home on Sunday, February 16, 2020. She was born and raised in Molfetta, Italy and had lived in Union City before settling in Howell in 2008. A member of the International Ladies Garment Union, Lucrezia worked as a seamstress for Verdi Coats for Hoboken until her retirement. When her children were growing up, they traveled to Italy annually. Lucrezia was a social butterfly who cared deeply for others and loved nothing more than being with friends and family. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicolo Camporeale; two brothers, Vincenzo DeBari and Donato DeBari; and her sister, Marta Calo. Lucrezia is survived by two sons, Frank Camporeale of FL and Gaetano Camporeale of NC; daughters, Chiara Loeffler and her husband, Peter of Howell and Lucie Tatulli and her husband, Rick of Little Falls; six grandchildren, Francine, Maria, Nick, David and his wife, Krista, Christian and Alec; two great grandchildren, Sofia and Olivia; and her sister, Damiana Camporeale of Toms River. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Francis Catholic Church, 308 Jefferson Street, Hoboken on Friday, February 21, 2020. Entombment will follow in Flower Hill Cemetery, 5433 John F. Kennedy Boulevard, North Bergen.
