Obituary of Josephine Campaniolo

Josephine Campaniolo, 83, of Ocean Township passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She was born in Palermo, Italy, came to the United States in the 1960’s, lived in Brooklyn, and settled in Ocean in 2004. Josephine loved to play bingo, could always be found cooking, and enjoyed sewing. She was passionate about spending time with her family and having large family gatherings. Josephine was loved by everyone she met, treated everyone with respect, and was the sweetest woman in the world. Above all, she was a loving mother and grandma. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bernard Campaniolo in 1999. Josephine is survived by her four children, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 9:00 AM at the funeral home on Thursday, February 27, 2020 for the procession to her 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at Church of the Holy Child, 4747 Amboy Road, Staten Island, NY 10312.
