Obituary of Joanne M. Lavelle

Joanne M. Lavelle, 81, of Howell passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born and raised in North Bergen, and lived in New Milford for a time before settling here in 2004. An avid reader, Joanne also enjoyed crafts. At Crossroads she ran the games and all were welcome to join in. Joanne was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Anna Lavelle; sister, Eileen Tabasco; and brother, Joseph Lavelle. She is survived by her nieces; Linda Townsley and her husband, David of Howell, Patricia Daubner and her husband, James of Rochelle Park, and Janice Pennisi and her husband, Drew of Wood-Ridge; nephew, Patrick Tabasco and his wife, Sallyann of Saddle Brook; grandnieces, Anna, Amy, Justine and Nichole; grandnephew, Jimmy, Anthony and Matthew; and great great nephew, Weston. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM funeral service at the funeral home on Monday, March 2, 2020. Interment will follow in Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee.
