Yardley Family,
My greatest condolences to you. I met Lucy my first day at IUP. She was so sweet. So kind hearted. She was a beautiful girl inside and out. This news breaks my heart. You are in my thoughts and prayers. -Sydney Kostelac
Dear Chris, Leigh,Hannah and Sean,
I’m so sorry for the loss of your daughter and sister. Lucy was such a bright light to all who knew her!
Lucy meant so much to me and our family.
When Sammi was in First Grade I had heard that there was a new little girl in the neighborhood. I wanted a playmate for Sammi so I knocked on the door to meet the new new neighbors.
When Lucy opened the door I saw this beautiful little girl. She immediately asked Sammi to play and they became best friends through their childhood.
I loved having Lucy over to the house. She was a ball of joy and exuded love for all she met.
A lot of my memories of Sammi’s childhood will always include Lucy. We always sang really loud in the car when I picked the girls up from gymnastics. She loved Singing.
I also remember when Leigh and Lucy hosted a tea party for moms and kids. Lucy was so happy to be cohosting and loved sharing her moms wonderful sandwiches and treats for her friends!
There were so, so many of wonderful memories with Lucy.
As Sammi had shared, Lucy was there for her when many weren’t. I will never forget whatt her friendship meant to my daughter.
Lucy will be remembered as not only a beautiful soul, but as someone whose kindness made a difference in peoples lives.
Rest In Peace Lucy, you will never be forgotten.
Dear Chris, Leigh, Hannah and Sean, we are all praying for you as this time of loss and grief occurs.
We are with you in spirit and in hope. Life is utterly different for you now as Lucy is with God and we are left behind to mourn her passing. Please accept our heartfelt condolences

Dear Yardley family,
I am incredibly sorry for the loss of your daughter and sister. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Lucy was a wonderful person and had so much to live for. I remember meeting Lucy in the 4th grade. My first impression was her outgoing, humorous and vivacious personality. She had an ability to light up any room she walked into and made friends so easily. I am glad I was able to have known her and had many great memories with her. Her life was sadly cut too soon but she left a lasting impression on everyone she met and will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace Lucy!
Love,
Catherine Monaghan
Dear Yardley Family,
From the bottom of my heart, I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter and sister. Lucy was always wise beyond her years, and had a way of looking at life that was more compassionate and insightful than any one else I ever knew. For example, when we were kids, she was one of the few people who looked beyond my timid exterior and believed in me. Lucy's kind heart and thoughtfulness to others was evident in everything she did. I'll never forget when she threw a surprise party for my 10th birthday at your house. It meant as much to me then as it does now. Lucy had a charisma to her that was undeniable, anybody that met her felt it. She had a way of making each day exciting and full of possibility. She showed me what genuine friendship was at such a young age. She truly was beautiful inside and out.
Rest in peace Lucy. I'll never forget you.
Dear Chris, Leigh, Hannah & Sean
