Obituary of Theresa Jean Maguire Richards

Theresa Jean Maguire Richards, 63, of Keansburg passed away surrounded by her family after a brief illness on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was born in Long Branch, raised in the Oakhurst section of Ocean Township, and had lived in Howell and Keansburg. Theresa was a devoted mother and an amazing cook.  She will be remembered for her self-less caring for others, strength, and loving heart.

Theresa was predeceased by her parents, James and Jean Maguire.  She is survived by her son, Michael Maguire and his fiancé, Cheryl of Howell; her fiancé, Tom Brown of Neptune; siblings, Michelle Wells and her husband, David of Browns Mills, Frank Maguire and his wife, MaryLee of Manalapan; three nephews; four nieces, one great nephew; and two great nieces.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM funeral service on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.
