Condolences
Thinking of Ryan and his family today. Forever thankful for the memories I share with him. He was a true friend to all. I miss his laugh the most. We were always laughing. Happy heavenly birthday, Ryan. It still doesn’t feel right. Thank you for being such a force of kindness that I am able to miss you all my life. I’m engaged to lochbaum now. Who would have thought. Thank you for introducing us. We will always remember you. I hope you and O’Dell are hanging out up there. Love you.
To Ryan (the following was written the night that I found out about Ryan’s passing, but I wanted to include this because it was the most genuine and raw depiction of my relationship with Ryan):
This pains me so much to write. I never thought I’d have to do this. You were one of my best friends. Every day, a new inside joke made, a new common interest found, a new memory created, something new learned about each other. Just two days ago, I had my final conversation with you. If I had known that would have been it, I would have told you how much I appreciated you. I would have thanked you for always being there for me. I would have shared one more laugh with you.
Last Tuesday, I found out I had to move out of my dorm and away from my friends and I was upset. You comforted me and suggested a song to me called “afterlife” by illenium. I’m listening to it as I’m laying in my bed, writing this to you. On Friday, you told me that if you knew all of this was going to happen, you would have danced with me more. We always joked about how I harassed you to into dancing, but you said you were always happier because of it. So was I. I miss you. I miss dancing with you. Adventure is out there. Love you.
To Ryan’s parents:
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine what you are going through. I pray for your family every day. Just know that you did a wonderful job raising your Ryan. He is one of the kindest, most caring people I have ever met. He was such a light in everyone’s lives. He still is. He loved so many and he was loved by just as many, if not more. Every single memory that I have with your son is a good one and I hold that close to my heart. Thank you for being the parents that you are. Thank you for shaping Ryan to be such a good friend.
Thoughts and prayers to the family at this difficult time. So sorry for your loss.

You were a great dance partner, lots of fun and always the teaser. You were a beautiful part of my life. I will miss you and always love you. Until we meet again.
Thanks to Ryan for all the joy he gifted us. From when we used to hunt for Easter eggs — to his calling Uncle Mike “Grumpy” — to his version of Slim Shady, he was always smiling and enjoying life and sharing lots of laughs. That’s what we’ll remember most about Ryan. We’ll keep on smiling too as we think of him always.
I will miss our talks concerning your Kentucky Wildcats and my Seton Hall Pirates. I will miss your great smile and laugh! My sincere condolences to your dad Roland mom Alice brothers RJ and Evan and the rest of your family and friends. They say only the good die young, well they got it right this time. It is with great sadness that I learn of Ryan's passing. As a member of the faculty of Manalapan High School's Science & Engineering Magnet Program, I knew Ryan well as a student and as a person. He was such a nice young man with a great smile and sense of humor. The teaching staff and his S&E classmates are all better for having been touched by his presence in our lives. I offer you my sincerest condolences and deepest sympathies at this very difficult time. You all are in my prayers.
