Obituary of Angela M. Interrante

Angela M. Interrante, 93, of Freehold passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020 at The Manor, Freehold Township.  She was born in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with her two sisters.  She married in and lived in Woodhaven, Queens.  In 1992 she moved to Staten Island to be closer to her grandchildren before moving to Brandywine Assisted Living in Howell, NJ in 2014.  She was a homemaker and avid reader.  Above all else, Angela was a loving mother and grandmother. In the last few months of her life she was a resident of The Manor in Freehold.

Angela was predeceased by her husband, Rosario “Sal” Interrante in 1994.  She is survived by her children, Sal Interrante and his wife, Donna of Freehold, Frank Interrante and his wife, Alissa of Staten Island, NY, and Angela Interrante and her wife, Claire Valli of Staten Island, NY; four grandchildren, Stephanie Calman and her husband, Adam of Jersey City, Michael Interrante of Brooklyn, Steven Interrante and his wife, Jen of Queens, NY, and Matthew Interrante and his fiancé, Emily of Queens, NY; and her sister, Gloria Iovino of Las Vegas, NV.  She was predeceased by her sister, Vicki Farella.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family handled services privately. All arrangements are under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. A memorial gathering and funeral service to honor Angela's memory will be held at a later date.
