Gestures
Dear Lois, Bart, Mimi, Joseph, Emma, John Michael, Wolf and I and our whole family, Rob, MJ, Amy, Linda and Rich are so sorry for your loss. Cy was a wonderful man. A gift from GOD. For over 50 PLUS years we have been great friends. Not too many people can say that. We moved from S.I.,N.Y., to Manalapan, N.J.We attended the same Church. St. Thomas More. We had get- to- gethers. We went to lunches and dinners and had wonderful times. That is a true friendship. GOD Bless you CAPTAIN CYRIL JAMES ELIAS and may GOD keep you in His loving arms forever. Love, Pauline and Wolf
Lois, Bart and family,
It is with great sadness to hear about the passing of Cyril. He will be missed deeply, especially by my Mom & Dad.
Although I did not know him very well, I was always proud to say that I knew him and tell my friends and co - worker that I knew Cyril as a Captain in the US Merchant Marines and that he was the husband of my Mom's best friend. My co - worker was very interested in this fact due to his daughter in law following in the same footsteps as Cyril and earning a Captain's position aboard a USMM ship also. This lead to many conversations about her time in the Academy and travels abroad.
May God Bless you and your family in this time of suffering!
