Obituary of Harold Diercks

Harold Diercks, 84, of Whiting passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020 at Crestwood Manor, Whiting.  He was born and raised in Germany.  Harold lived in Canada before coming to the United States, traveled to California before making his way to the East Coast and settling in New Jersey.  He worked as a machinist, operating and maintaining the machines at Kearfott Guidance & Navigation in Little Falls.  Harold belonged to OMT Oestner Club in North Bergen NJ, Carlstadt Turnverein, and Deutscher Club of Clark.

Harold was predeceased by his wife, Gertrud Diercks in 2001.  He is survived by his daughter, Loretta Hart and her husband, Sean of Freehold Township; and grandsons, Kyle and Ryan Hart of Freehold Township. 

All services are private and under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
