Obituary of Barbara DeStefano

Barbara DeStefano, 77, of Howell passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Brandywine Senior Living Reflections at Colts Neck.  She was born and raised in Queens, NY, moved to Marlboro where she raised her family, and eventully settled in Howell in 2014. 

Barbara was an administrative assistant at Colts Neck Realty where she provided support to a premier agency for over 20 years.  A longtime Yankee fan, she also enjoyed trips to Long Beach Island and Atlantic City.  Barbara cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren, and loved nothing more than rooting them on at their sports events.

She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Tessie Novella; and her brother, Gennaro Novella.  Barbara leaves behind to mourn her loss her children, Anthony J. DeStefano and his wife, Christine, and Nicole Bartels and her husband, Donny, all of Howell; and her grandchildren, Kevin, Kelly, Kerry, Kenny and Vincent.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private services will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home.  Entombment will take place in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleums, Marlboro.
