Obituary of Caroline Crisafulli
Caroline Crisafulli, 90, of Freehold Boro passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020 at home. She was born, raised, and lived her whole life in Brooklyn. Caroline moved to Freehold Borough in May 2019. She enjoyed sewing which led to her success as a seamstress. Caroline was a wonderful cook and enjoyed making meals for her loved ones. She could often be found crocheting in her spare time. Above all, Caroline was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank Crisafulli; and two brothers, Nicholas and Arthur Cappadona. Caroline is survived by her children, Laura Failla and her husband, Joseph of Smithtown, New York, Ronald Crisafulli and his wife, Manuella of Freehold Township, and Nicholas Crisafulli of Nevada; four grandchildren, Valerie Heaberline and her husband, Garrett of Atlanta, Georgia, Cris Cusati and her husband, Brian of Smithtown, New York, Nicole Pirovolos and her husband, Dean of Ocean Township, and Jillian Ruel and her husband, Thomas of Howell; and eight great grandchildren, Aidan, Corinne, Mason, Brooke, Jackson, Elle, Max, and Madden; and a sister, Gloria Delfino of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private services will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends are invited to participate via Webcast through the Funeral Home website at 8:00 AM on Thursday, June 4, 2020. Interment will take place in St. Charles Cemetery Resurrection, 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY 11735. In lieu of flowers, donations in Caroline’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
