Obituary of Frances M. Henderson

Frances Marilyn Henderson, 93, of Tinton Falls passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020. She was born in New York City and was raised and had lived in Queens.  Frances lived in Denville before moving to the shore in 1987 where she lived in Neptune, Belmar, and Avon, before settling to Tinton Falls in 2016. Frances could often be found at the beach in Avon. She was a social butterfly leaving an everlasting memory on everyone she met. Above all, Frances was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Alan Henderson; and her two brothers, John and Thomas Kelleher. Frances is survived by her loving daughter, Joan Collier and her husband, Robert of Freehold; grandson, Ryan; sisters, Isabel Dye of VA and Margaret Shea of TX; and a brother, Robert Kelleher of Rumson.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private services will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends are invited to participate in her 10:00 AM funeral service via Webcast through the Funeral Home website on Monday, June 8, 2020. Interment will take place in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, 549 Newman Springs Road, Marlboro.
