Obituary of Della R. Flora

Della R. Flora, 71, of Jackson passed away at home on Sunday, June 7, 2020.  She was born in Neptune, raised in Englishtown and had lived in Freehold before settling in Jackson in 1982.  Della worked as a line worker for Carter Wallace in Cranbury.   In retirement, she was a bus driver for the Jackson Township Board of Education.  In her spare time, Della enjoyed gardening, ceramics and trips to Atlantic City.

She was predeceased by two brothers; and one sister.  Della is survived by her husband of 38 wonderful years, Joseph Flora of Jackson; daughter, Carolyn McGrory of Atlantic Highlands; four stepchildren, Toni Glenn of Freehold, Frankie Flora  of Forked River, and Chris Flora and Kelly Flora, both of Jackson; two grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers; and five sisters. 

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private services will be held for the family.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service via webcast on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 10:00 AM.  All arrangements are under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.  Entombment will be held in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Freehold.  For information on future services, or to leave condolence messages to the family, please visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
