Obituary of Robert Gawlowski

Robert Gawlowski, 82, of Freehold passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Centrastate Medical Center in Freehold Township. He was born and raised in Bayonne, lived in Roselle, and then settled in Freehold in 1985. Robert proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Afterwards, he was worked as an import and export buyer for Samar Distributors in Edison until his retirement.

He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Mary Gawlowski and a brother, Gerald Gawlowski. Robert is survived by his children, Robyn Broda of Mountainside and Jeffrey Gawlowski of Jackson; and his grandchildren, Rebecca, Emily, and William.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 3:00 to 6:30 PM with his funeral service to follow at 6:30 PM.
