Obituary of Nicholas Steven DeJonge
Nicholas Steven DeJonge, 23, of Millstone passed away as the result of a motorcycle accident on Saturday, August 1, 2020. He was born in Freehold Township, and raised in Jackson and Clarksburg, NJ. At the time of his passing, Nick worked alongside his grandfather and uncles in the family business, Bob’s Locksmith in Staten Island. He had a need for speed and lived life to the fullest. Nick enjoyed going to the beach and shooting pool. He was a huge fan of UFC and liked playing video games with his younger siblings and cousin Keith. His favorite pastime was hanging out with his sister and cousins, and raising a glass with his brother. Nick loved his family more than anything. Nick was taken from his family too soon and his absence creates a void that can never be filled.
He was predeceased by his parents, Robert DeJonge, Jr. and Ginger DeJonge. Nicholas is survived by his brother, Robert DeJonge III and his fiancée, Ashley Minichini of Neptune; sister, Jessica DeJonge of Delaware County, PA; siblings, Aaliyah, Aamarni, Aaliysha and Vincent; paternal grandparents, Robert DeJonge, Sr. and his wife, JoAnn of Clarksburg; paternal great grandmother, Ramona Sponhower of TX; maternal grandmother, Arlene Munna of KS; maternal grandfather, Joe Munna of Manalapan; maternal great grandmother, Ginger Scordus of Manalapan; best friends, Matt Hart of Clarksburg and Devin Pallito of Jackson; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends too numerous to name.
