Condolences
Nancy, Paul and the entire family,
We were so sorry to get that call informing us of Kim’s passing. We know how long she and your entire family struggled with that horrible disease. We also know of the love you shared, the happy times you had and how those glowing memories will help you get from today to the day when that’s all you’ll have to remember . The love of her, the joys she brought, the days of laughter, caring and a wonderful life. However possible it is that we can, we share in your grief and send you all our love and the wonderful memories that we have to share. We truly miss you and the times we spent together.
With our deepest feelings of your loss and with all of our love to help you all get through these hardest of days ❤️

Kim was a special person with a unique energy. She will certainly be missed. The video is a touching tribute showing the palpable love that enveloped her as she fought so hard not to leave those she loved. Only true love would enable her to stay as long as she did and give those who loved her the fortitude to provide comfort and ease her pain While permitting her to leave this earth surrounded by that love when it was time. May all that love live on, surround you, and give you peace as you grieve.
Kim, you were a true friend! I loved you dearly. I will fondly remember our many walks together......walks where we laughed together, cried together and shared our lives. Many prayers were said out loud on those walks and two women’s hearts became forever bonded. I will always remember the phrase we shared “ Don’t worry....we’ve got five miles to talk it all out!” My heart is at peace because I know you’re in heaven waiting till we meet again.....then we will have another five miles to talk it all out! Love forever, Tara Mottola

Again, please accept my warm and heartfelt sympathy.

Though far away we share with you our love and prayers. We do remember hearing often from Nancy about the Ernst family and met you on one of our visits which was very special. May Kim rest now in peace and rise in Glory.

Kim was one of my husbands favorite waitress at the Chapter House and truly a great friend. Sharon Russell
Kim showed us all how to walk miles without being weary; make travel about time, not the destination; face facts without fear, and laugh so hard we cried happy tears.
Most importantly, she was and will always be a mom, wife and friend who’s love ran so deep it will never leave us. The thread that Kim wove us together with is strong – and will stay that way forever, just like her.
We are so sorry to hear of Kim’s passing. Kim was a very kind and was a lot of fun to be around. You put up one hell of a fight, you always had a great attitude. You are going to be so missed Kim. RIP my friend. With love Colleen and Gary Sabatini
My heart is broken, I will miss you forever sweet friend! Love you! Xoxo
I know we have lived far from one another. I remember the first time I met Kim. I have such fond memories of Christmas Eves at Aunt Bev and Uncle Ernie’s in Whiting! Kim was fun, easy to talk to, and DEVOTED to my cousin Don and her BEAUTIFUL boys.
I can’t say or do much-but Kim loved her family and lit up every room. My deepest condolences go out to the Ernsts and the Wharmbys.
As you grieve the passing of Kim, you know there are many who care about you
and want to help. My deepest condolences to you and your family. Kim will be dearly missed and I am holding all of you in my thoughts. Uncle Frank
