Condolences
Our condolences to the Flood family .Joyce will be missed by all that knew her . The McArdle family
Our deepest condolences and sympathy to The Flood Family for the loss.
My Grandmother, her mother, was the single nicest person I ever met. My Aunt Joyce was the second.
I will miss her dearly.

I saw the obit and recognized the (nee Brooks) and the smile. She did go to Bishop McDonnell HS did she not. I did too. I really didn't know Joyce in school because it was a big school. I wish I had gotten to know her here in NJ (I am in Waretown). She just sounds like such an amazing woman. I am sure she is resting in peace with the Lord.
I went to my yearbook to look her up and the first page I turned to had Joyce standing with her violin (pg 86)
My prayers to the family on your great loss. Peace Noreen
Deepest sympathy to the Flood Family on your loss
I did not know Mrs Flood well. I lived across the street. My interaction was limited to returning the Flood’s wonderful Newfoundland dog, Patrick. He’d wander over to my house to say hi and I’d lead him home by his collar. Mrs Flood always laughed when I returned her fur boy
Condolences to the family

Joyce was born the same year as my father. Her beautiful smile was priceless. I will miss her. I loved her like an aunt. RIP.
Dear Mr Flood and Family,
My heart and condolences are with all of you at this difficult time.
As A child coming from Brooklyn, I always sort of felt displaced, until one day Mrs Flood mentioned she received my name in prayer via the church during confirmation time. I was honored and humbled by her kindness to let me know of who my prayer sponsor was She had such a tenderness and kind way and at that moment I knew things weren’t as bad as they seemed. Her memory and kindness has stayed with me as I too continued to have followed in prayer and teaching ccd in the past years . May God Bless you all and know she truly was special to me. It’s been an honor and pleasure to grow up with and know your family! All my love and prayers always, Joanie Profaci Sierp
In all honesty I really did not know your wife but I know if a person was married to you they were sweet honorable and loving and may God bless your entire family
I am so sad to hear about the passing of Mrs. Flood. She always made me and everyone else feel like a loved member of the already large Flood Family. Always room for one more. What a wonderful example of how to be kind and how to love. May all of your memories make these difficult days, months, and years a bit brighter. Love to all the Floods.
I was so saddened to hear of Joyce's passing. Though it's been many years since I've seen the Flood family, I always remember Joyce as the center of a home overflowing with love (and fun)! Prayers for her soul and for Ray and family to be consoled by the many loving memories I'm sure you all have!
We knew the Floods because their daughter Joyce and her husband James and their baby Elizabeth lived next door to us in University Place, WA. And the Floods came out to visit. Then we stayed with them over a long weekend on a trip we had to the East Coast when Elizabeth was still a baby. Ray and Joyce were wonderful hosts. The world is a better place because of all the JOY she gave to the world through the many blessings given to her by her Heavenly Father.

We were fortunate and blessed to have Ray and Joyce as neighbors here in Florida. Joyce Flood created the wonderful family who mourn her. Her love of God and her family were the most important things in life. She had a way about her that made you feel good to be in her presence. Hers was truly a life well lived
Our hearts go out to Ray and the family.
If you were ever lucky enough to spend a few minutes in Joyce’s presence, you’d leave glowing with JOY....truly the Holy Spirit was within. I will always remember her warmth, smile and kindness. May many wonderful memories of Joyce bring peace and comfort to her beautiful family. She will be welcomed by all the Angels in heaven, for sure. ♥️
Our deepest sympathy to Ray and all the Flood family. She was a gracious lady, and a shining reflection of her God. Always with a smile, the world has lost a little bit of sparkle with her passing.

My most heartfelt condolences to Ray ( my friend for over 25 years) and the entire family. Joyce was a dear and most beautiful person. I was my pleasure to have known her Ray. I pray that your grief be brief and her beautiful memories be forever. God bless you all.

spent a lot of time growing up at the Flood house—Mrs. Flood was always gracious, made you feel at home, and always had a smile on her face—my thoughts and prayers go out to the family
This is a beautiful description of a loving mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. Joyce had a beautiful smile and infectious laugh. I am so inspired by her life. So grateful to have known her and to call her my friend. She was a warm and bright light to all who knew her. Thank you Joyce for your goodness to so many people especially your students and colleagues at Collier. We love you. Ray and family, you are all in our thoughts, our prayers and in our hearts. Sr. Debbie
Joyce was the Mom of Collier. Her classroom was across the hall from me and she always had this motherly quality about her... she could get you to finish your work AND those vegetables that were left on your plate. She never got mad, always smiling, and gave the kids so much love that she probably forgot to teach math every now and then. The kindest of souls. A wonderful coworker at the ready with a genuine heart of gold and a wonderful laugh.
To the Flood family, I’m so sad for your loss!
