Obituary of Patricia M. Rondinone

Patricia M. Rondinone, 82, of Toms River passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at her home. She was born in Hoboken, lived in Fords, and settled in Toms River in 2012. Patricia was a graduate of Demarest High School in Hoboken. She was homemaker and a parishioner of St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Toms River. Patricia could often be found in her garden growing and tending beautiful flowers. She was an avid reader and enjoyed reading autobiographies and romance novels. Patricia enjoyed going out to Bingo and attending aerobics classes.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Michael Rondinone Jr. in 2002; her son, Michael Rodinone, III in 1997; and her brothers, Thomas Burke and Richard Burke. She is survived by her daughter, Lori Coccaro and her husband, Dr. John Coccaro of Manalapan; grandchildren, Nicholas Coccaro of Manalapan and Alexander Coccaro of Thornton, Colorado; sisters, Catherine DeMatteo of Hoboken and Maureen Curtin of Forked River; sister-in-law, Louise Rosano and her husband, Morris of East Rutherford; brother-in-law, Anthony Rondinone and his wife, Anne of Brick; and many nieces and nephews. Patricia also leaves behind her best friend of 50 years, Mary Marcin.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. For the safety of the public and our staff, we are asking everyone to help us adhere to the CDC guidelines. Facemasks will be required. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM Funeral Mass on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold. Interment will be private. In lieu of flower’s donations may be made in Patricia’s name to the AHS Popcorn Zoo, Attention: Renee, Post Office Box 43, Forked River, NJ 08731-0043.
