Condolences
Dear Cindy and family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. You're in my prayers.
To the beautiful Patterson Family,
Wish to thank everyone again for being such wonderful neighbors since 1974!
Will never forget that frightful night of the exploding transformers on both Vanderveer and 524. Again I wish to thank you for riding over with your cart so my 90+ year old dad would have a comfortable seat to sit on till the police had informed all when it was safe to return home. Will never forget this generosity along with other special moments during the fall festival and choosing which flowers to buy.
You and yours are a real treasure!
Love to all,.........Susan and Charles Sona.
I learned many o life lessons from my Uncle Don: how to make our RC cars fast, how to catch waves in Manasquan & how to keep it real and love life! There was no such thing as a quick stop at the farm...an hour later you were still there on a stool or hangin around a greenhouse in a fun conversation. If u didnt leave smarter than u came then you blew it bc u must not have been paying attention!! A true gentleman our family will miss u greatly! Thanks for all the lessons & memories!
My condolences to the whole Patterson family. It was truly an honor to grow up as a teenager with a man like Uncle Don by your side helping you along in your everyday goals and struggles. I will always remember the Sheppard he was to me. There are some special memories that continue to roll through my mind. It was he who taught me to drive a tractor, a stick shift (floor and column),
the way to hand wash a car correctly, and how to completely hand paint the inside of a school bus only to name a few things. Uncle Don you will surly be missed but your legacy will last forever. Rest in peace my brother and friend.
May u always hear your father’s words of wisdom guiding you!
I feel so blessed I got to know him Sharing in your sadness I will miss him too.
God bless the Patterson family
Sincerely Patti Normand

I am so very saddened by his passing. I will miss my friend. He was a wonderful man. I will forever miss our talks and his stories. He was always looking for that damn ring in my finger...You were a very special person with a wonderful sense of humor .Rest in peace my friend...until next time. I will miss you ❤️
Uncle Don has been role model for the Patterson Family for his whole life. Always giving ,working hard and helping family and friends with so many endeavors. I have so many fond memories growing up and spending time with him over the past 70+ years. He was never at a loss of humor and shared so much of it recently on Facebook. RIP Don and hope we meet again if I go in the right direction(up). Wayne Patterson
