Obituary of Robert Hansen

ROBERT HANSEN, 63, of FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, died Thursday, Dec. 13, at home. Mr. Hansen was born in and had lived in Queens, N.Y. and Lakewood before settling in Freehold Township in 1979. Mr. Hansen was a 1966 graduate of Columbia University, New York, with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He was the Vice President of Manufacturing for Hemispherx Biopharma, New Brunswick, formerly Interferon Sciences. Prior to that, he was a research scientist for Worthington Biochemical, Freehold. Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Donna Hansen; two sons, Eric Hansen of Philadelphia, Pa., and Jared Hansen of Freehold Township; and a sister, Lois Molholm of Dublin, Ohio. Visiting hours will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home, with Rev. Brian Eble officiating. Interment will follow.
