Obituary of Geraldine Berris

Geraldine Berris, 89, of Jackson passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Bartley Healthcare Nursing and Rehabilitation, Jackson. She was born and raised in Woodbridge.  Mrs. Berris had lived in Manalapan and Mullica Hills before settling in Toms River. She worked as a Teacher for the Manalapan School System for many years before her retirement in 1990.

Mrs. Berris was predeceased by her husband, William Berris; her daughter, Nancy, and a brother, Ronald Hooban. She is survived by her children, Joanne Crawford and her husband, Michael of Howell, and Kim Smestad and her husband, John of Florida; seven grandchildren, Michael Crawford, Jr., Tyler Crawford, Alex, Laura Berry, Kristy Smestad, Billy Astramara, and Matthew Astramara; and four great grandchildren.
