Obituary of Elsie Murphy

Elsie M. Murphy, 101, of Howell Township, NJ passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Bartley Health Care, Jackson, NJ. She was born in Howell and was a lifelong area resident. Elsie was a homemaker. She was predeceased by two sons, John Murphy Sr. in 2010 and Arthur L. Murphy Jr. in 2007. She was also predeceased by her grandson, Todd Murphy. Elsie is survived by a son, William Larry Murphy of Las Vegas, NV; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, (Route 524) Freehold Township on Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Kengeter Pastor of Pierce Memorial Presbyterian Church Officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale, NJ.
