Obituary of Marjorie Funk
MARJORIE L. FUNK, 49, of BEACHWOOD, died Sunday, Dec. 9, at home. Mrs. Funk was born in Neptune and had lived in Brick before moving to Beachwood in 2004. She was a billing coordinator for Invision Inc., Lakewood for 15 years before becoming disabled in March 2007.
She was predeceased by her stepfather, Clarence Ivins, in 1995. Surviving are her husband, George J. Funk; a daughter, Cathleen Funk, at home; her mother, Dorothy Dalton of Beachwood; four brothers, Ricky Ivins of Seminole, Fla., Randy Ivins of Manchester, Ga., Ryann Ivins and Ronny Ivins, both of Lecanto, Fla.; two sisters, Kelly Dalton of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Suzanne White and her husband Bruce of Brick; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, and coworkers.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at noon Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
