Blessings to you all, Liz
We just watched the lovely service. Rest assured that your mother's legacy lives on in each of you. The eulogies were as eloquent, intelligent and thoughtful as you described your mother. She is a strong soul who will continue to live on each of you.
Love, Jo LaVia and Wendy Archer

Sending our love and deepest condolences to the entire Luongo family and everyone who loved Marlene. May her memory be eternal. Fondly, Sheila, John, Michael, Voula and Geoff Papakonstantinou
I had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Luongo for the first time at Julia’s baby shower, which was about 14 years ago. I will never forget her warm and tender embrace, as she welcomed me with open arms, to join her in the celebration of this beautiful event. We chat and laughed, as though we knew each other for years. Like an angel, she was so gentle, caring and kind.
I am so sorry for your loss, I did not meet Mrs. Luongo but of long conversations I had with my beautiful friend, Julia Luongo McArdle, I am able to say that Mrs. Luongo was a very strong woman with qualities anyone would wish to be described as having. Julia truly loved her mother, she admired her for who she was. Julia would always talk so fondly of her and tell me how big her mom's heart was. I wished that I had met Mrs Luongo.
You are in my prayers, Linda
My deepest condolences to the entire Luongo family. Marlene was a dear, sweet woman who always had a kind word and a smile on her face. I first met Marlene when I was only 13 years old as I attended high school with her Daughter, Esther. I soon became best of friends with Esther and was warmly welcomed into the Luongo household in Freehold, New Jersey. I soon was acquainted with the family and had many sleepovers and many, many happy, comical and lasting memories. I grew to know all of the children and have many fond memories of each. I was deeply saddened to hear of Marlene’s passing. I am encouraged knowing how much she was loved and gave love. Marlene was deeply revered by her children and grandchildren. The best legacy is her loving family and in their hearts she will always live on. Let us celebrate the life of a kind, yet strong woman who battled breast cancer with Grace. Thank you Marlene for your example, your kindness, your strength and your beauty. May you Rest In Peace. With Love. Patty (Millward) Norton
