Obituary of Michael P. Keohane

Michael P. Keohane, 66, of Freehold passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. He was born and raised in Staten Island, lived in Woodbridge, and settled to Freehold in 1999. Michael worked as a Longshoreman for Port Newark for 25 years. He was a retired chef, known for his amazing cooking, and enjoyed having a cigar and the “occasional cocktail”.

He was predeceased by his parents, Cornelius and Dorothy Keohane. Michael is survived by his siblings, Raymond Keohane, Robert Keohane, Cornelius J. Keohane, Jr., Maureen Hinds, and Donna Silogy-Gigante; many nieces and nephews; and pets.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 2:00 to 5:30 PM with his funeral service to follow.
