Obituary of Dorothy Claire Blazejewski

Dorothy Claire Blazejewski, 96, of Old Bridge passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge.  Dorothy was born the daughter of Frank and Genevieve Monczewski in Jersey City  She had lived in Jersey City and Piscataway before moving to Old Bridge.  Dorothy was a packer for Finast Grocery for over twenty years until her retirement.  In retirement, she worked for Ralph Lauren for ten years.  Dorothy was a devout catholic and was a parishioner and member of the Rosary Society at Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Piscataway.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Blazejewski in 1992, a son, Joseph Blazejewski in 2017 and a brother, Leonard Monchek in 2013.  She is survived by her daughter, Pat Mozingo and her husband, Peter of Massillon, OH; a daughter-in-law, Francine Blazejewski of Freehold, NJ; five grandchildren, Jill Covert and her husband, Todd of Massillon, OH, Nicole Blazejewski of Freehold, NJ, Melissa Blazejewski of New York City, NY, Peter Joseph Mozingo and his wife, Meghan of Wadsworth, OH, and Darrell Mozingo and his wife, Katie of London, UK; four great grandchildren, Bianca Covert and her fiancé, Del, Dallas Covert, Gavin Mozingo, and Adelaide Mozingo; and a great greatgrandson, Braxton.

Due to COVID-19, all arrangements are private.  Inurnment took place at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway, NJ.  A Memorial Mass will be held at Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 208 Bound Brook Ave, Piscataway, NJ 08854 at a date and time to be announced.  For those who desire memorial contributions may be made to the Reformed Church Home, 1990 Route 18 North, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.  For information or to leave condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
