Obituary of Joann Dorothy Henninger
Joann Dorothy Henninger “Sister Mary Rachel” 64, of Tullytown, PA entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 23, 2020 in Florida. She was born and raised in Princeton and lived in Croydon, PA before settling in Tullytown. She served as Sister Mary Rachel (OSB) at Christ the King Orthodox Church. She just celebrated her 12th year with the Order of St Benedictine Nuns (OSB). Joann was employed at McCaffrey’s Food Market in Princeton for 25 years as a bakery assistant.
Joann was predeceased by her parents, Clair and Dorothy Henninger. She is survived by her five brothers; Bruce Henninger and his wife, Fran, of Aurora, IL, Brian Henninger of Lawrenceville, NJ, Barry Henninger of Show Low, AZ, Michael Henninger of Holbrook, AZ, and Clair Henninger of Ewing, NJ; three nieces; one nephew; four great nieces; four great nephews; and many lifelong friends.
All arrangements are private and under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Interment for Joann will be announced at a later date.
