Bob and Linda became tax clients of years ago. He was a pilot for Eastern Airlines and I flew for TWA. Our relationship became quite close. We regularly had lunch together and I learned a lot about his life, his family and his deep knowledge of Naval aviation, including detailed knowledge about Navy ships. He loved to write about ships and aviation; he was extremely intelligent and well spoken in those areas. Although age and illness came between our relationship in recent years, we maintained in contact. I will miss him and our discussions about aviation and taxes. My deepest sympathies go out to his family and loved ones.

I knew Bob Kowalski for 50 years. I was very young when I first met him and so for a long time he was ‘Mr. Kowalski’ the neighbor across the street who was a Navy man who flew airliners for Eastern Airlines. As time passed and I became an adult and moved away, I frequently visited the neighborhood to see my parents. During those visits he became ‘Bob’ to me and we had great discussions about history, aircraft and sports. Bob was a great neighbor and friend to my parents, and a great friend to me.
