Obituary of Xavier Rodriguez
It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Xavier Rodriguez announce his passing on November 24th, 2020, at the age of 38 years old. His journey began on June 14th, 1982, in Queens NY, born to both Mildred Mendoza (Predeceased) and Ruben Rodriguez. Even as a child, Xavier exuded a charisma and excitement for life that would forever imprint the hearts that surrounded him.
Xavier was an avid lover of sports, music, and family. During his young life he played a variety of varsity athletics, but it would be basketball that would allow him the opportunity to venture throughout the United States in competitive sport. He was a fun-loving, funny, intelligent, and talented young man who excelled in everything he set his mind to. As he got older, mentored by his father he would embark on a career in the music industry as the National Director of Promotions with Ruben Rodriguez Entertainment & Pendulum Records.
Xavier is survived by his father, Ruben Rodriguez; sister, Erica Rodriguez-Jenkins; aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. His passing has left us with a huge void in our family, but our cherished memories will be with us forever.
