Obituary of Dolores Rizzo

Dolores Rizzo, 88, of Howell passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 5, 2020.  Dolores was born in Queens, NY and raised in the Ravenswood section of Queens.  She lived in Long Island City before moving to Howell in the mid 1980’s.  Dolores was a scheduler for the Pepsi Cola Company in Long Island City, Teterboro, and Piscataway for 47 years retiring in 2006.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Dolores was predeceased by her daughter, Wendy Cassella and two brothers, James Chiarello and Raymond Chiarello.  She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Joseph; a daughter, Donna McNichol and her husband Gary of Freehold; two grandchildren, Michael Cassella of Howell and Austin McNichol and his girlfriend, Jady of Freehold; a great granddaughter, Skyla Jet McNichol; and a sister, Corinne Garifo of Levittown, NY.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon with her funeral service to follow.  Entombment will take place in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
