Obituary of Mildred Reid
Mildred L. Reid, 74, of Jackson died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold.
Mrs. Reid was born in the Adelphia section of Howell and lived in Englishtown before moving to Jackson, 25 years ago.
She was a store manager for Mendoker's Bakery, Jamesburg, for 20 years, retiring in 1998.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph Reid Sr. of Jackson; one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Reid Jr. and his wife, Maria, of Naples, Fla.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sharon Renaud and her husband, Andre, of Hightstown and Tami Reid of Monroe; she was an adopted mom to many; 10 grandchildren, Dawn, Andre Jr., Geoffrey, Joseph, Nori, Michael, Virginia, David, Heather, and Daniel; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Walter Textor Jr. of Auburn, Maine, and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Visiting is 2 p.m.-7 p.m. Sunday, at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 10 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
