Obituary of Eugene Gaetano Chillemi

Eugene Gaetano Chillemi, 89, of Brooklyn peacefully passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. He was born and raised in Brooklyn where he spent most of his life. Eugene then lived in the Poconos and Florida before settling in the Villages about 10 years ago. He worked as a Union Construction Worker for over 40 years. Eugene enjoyed wood working, watching sports especially boxing, and cars. Above all, he was passionate about spending quality time with his family.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Nicholas, Joseph, Anthony, Thomas, Frank, Jaquline, and Lucy. Eugene is survived by his loving wife, Caroline Chillemi; children, Mike Chillemi and his wife, Delores of Colts Neck, Kenny Chillemi and his wife, Frances of Brooklyn, and Isabelle Famularo and her husband, Tom of Long Valley; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and sister, Yolanda Gagliano of Colts Neck.

All arrangements are private and under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
