Obituary of James J. McKenna, Jr.

James J. McKenna, Jr., 40, of Jackson passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020. He was a lifelong resident of Jackson and settled to Bristol, Pennsylvania in 2016. James attended Temple University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. He then worked as an HVAC Technician for the Steam Fitters Union Local #420. He was known for being an extremely hard worker and was an avid animal lover. James was a lifelong 49ers fan, enjoyed reading and mountain biking.

He was predeceased by his father, James McKenna. James is survived by his mother, Donna McKenna of Freehold; sister, Jessica McKenna of Freehold; and brother, Jeffrey McKenna and his wife, Christine Pelli of Levittown.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with his funeral service to follow. Interment will follow in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Road, Lakewood. For the safety of the public and our staff, we are asking everyone to help us adhere to the CDC guidelines.
