Obituary of Michael Timothy Brennan
Michael Timothy Brennan, 65, of Howell passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and settled in Howell 30 years ago. Michael had worked in the food industry throughout his career and most recently as a deli merchandiser for Hormel Foods. He was a Eucharistic Minister at the Church of St. Veronica, Howell and was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus Council #6201. Michael loved bass fishing and volunteering his time to those in need. He also enjoyed traveling to Disney World and taking cruises with his wife. His greatest joy was spending quality time with his family and being a devoted husband, father, and brother.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Patrick Brennan, Sr. and Elizabeth Brennan. Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Catherine Brennan of Howell; son, Michael Brennan, Jr. of Howell; siblings, Joseph Brennan and his wife Maureen of Voorhees, Kathleen Waldron and her husband, Dr. John of Medford, John Brennan and his wife, Teresa of New London, PA, and Rosemary McGonigle and her husband, John of Mullica Hill, NJ; many loving nieces and nephews; and mother-in-law, Catherine DePaulo of Howell.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 9:30 AM Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 U.S. 9, Howell Township, NJ 07731. For the safety of the public and our staff, we are asking everyone to help us adhere to the CDC guidelines. Facemasks will be required. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19150.
