Obituary of Teresa Knowles

Teresa Knowles, 58, of Freehold Township passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, January 4, 2021 at home. She was born and raised in Brooklyn and settled in Freehold Township in 1999. Teresa worked as a real estate agent for 20 years, and was most recently an agent for RE/MAX. 

Teresa is survived by her loving husband, James Knowles of Freehold Township; children, Robert Falevitch of Bayville, Michael Knowles of Freehold Township, and Francesca Knowles of Freehold Township; mother, Mercedes Grimaldi and her husband, Joseph of Staten Island, NY; father, Eugene Aportela of Queens, NY; and sisters, Ada Weinstock and her husband, Steven of Manalapan, and Carmen Aportela of Staten Island, NY.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.
