Obituary of Franklin Josef Vill
Franklin Josef “Frankie” Vill, 58, of Jackson passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at home. He was born in Augsburg, Germany and raised in Keansburg, New Jersey. Frankie settled to Jackson in 2003 with his family. He was loved and admired by everyone he touched in life. Frankie was a leader, guide, confidant, animal lover, humanitarian, coach, doggy dad, brother, son, and uncle all in one. His genuine and giving personality taught others around him what it meant to truly love and support one another. His undeniable strength and determination led him throughout his life – his teachings always wise and important. The remarkable impact he left on his girls; and the warmth he left in our hearts will never be forgotten, and always embraced. He will be remembered as the Uncle Frankie we adore and love. He is “Our Frankie”, always.
Frankie is survived by his mother, Lieselotte V. Bernard of Jackson; sisters, Lilian Abbenhauser of Germany, and Tina Vill of Jackson; nieces, Heaven Leigh Copeland, Roxanne Renee Jones, Samantha Anne Jones, and Alanis Fay Pillar all of Jackson; nephew-in-law, Edgar Beltran of Jackson; canine companions, Jasmine, Arrow, Jimmy, and Fenris; and many dear friends.
